We distinguish between handmade and machine-made rugs and carpets. This differentiation is crucial because handmade rugs require additional care due to their heightened sensitivity during the cleaning process.

We remove dust and foreign objects from the rug using a Rug Dusting Machine* (if required). Alternatively, we use specialised vacuum cleaners before and after every rug wash to get the best cleaning result for your rugs.

Next, we inspect the rug for any particularly soiled or stained areas. If needed, we apply pre-treatment to these spots before commencing the cleaning process. Please be aware that certain stains, such as those from pets, may be difficult to remove as the treatment process could potentially alter the wool's color permanently

At Expert Rug Wash, we employ Rain Water, our key ingredient for the freshest rug clean. Utilising auto-machine washing, we safeguard fibers and dyes, especially delicate vegetable dyes, from tap water chlorine. This sustainable approach not only enhances longevity but also preserves colours.

At Expert Rug wash we ensure we check for past repairs or restoration work – as well as any current damage – to minimise the risk of any further damage prior to undertaking any auto rug wash so you always get the best service experience.

Following the auto-washing process for your rugs, we utilise a specialized Rug Spin Dryer to extract excess water. Subsequently, the rug is transferred to our dedicated drying room, where its moisture levels are monitored daily until fully dried, ensuring optimal condition before delivery.
